Apramycin, also known as apramycin, is an organic substance and its sulfate is commonly used. Its molecular formula is C21H41N5O11·2.5H2SO4. It is yellowish or yellowish brown powder with hygroscopicity. It is easily soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. It is an aminoglycoside new veterinary antibiotic produced by Streptomyces niger. It was successfully developed by the United States in 1967 [2]. It is characterized by a broad antibacterial spectrum and is not easy to develop resistance. It can be used for infections caused by E. coli, Salmonella and Mycoplasma in chickens. As a pharmaceutical feed additive, apramycin can significantly promote weight gain and increase feed conversion rate, and is widely used in the field of livestock and poultry breeding.

1.Apramycin mainly used to treat pig escherichia coli disease and other diseases caused by sensitive bacteria.
2.Apramycin can also treat diarrhea caused by enterobacter calves and salmonella.
3.Also effective against e. coli, salmonella and some mycoplasma infections in chickens.
